Designed for TAFES and Universities that require increased flexibility in the delivery of training for their students, this course teaches individuals how to assist a others who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants will learn mental health first aid skills that can be applied to help any adult. This course provides participants with the skills to recognize common mental health problems, knowledge of possible causes or risk factors and an awareness of treatments available. This course is delivered online, you will be required to complete online theory and practical training via Zoom.
Thursday 22nd and 29th October (runs over 2 sessions, you must attend both). Due to regulatory requirements you will not be able to transfer your place, attend make up classes or obtain a refund.
