DUSA Club Awards acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding efforts by our Clubs to build an engaging, supportive and positive environment for students at Deakin University.

Club of the Year
This award celebrates the most outstanding DUSA club of the calendar year. The award provides recognition for the way in which the club has engaged with students and the wider community, delivered on its objectives, and exceeded expectations.

New Club of the Year
This award celebrates the achievements of a club that has been created in the last 12 months. The award provides recognition for the way in which the club has been established and how it has been able to engage the student community.

Club Event of the Year
This award celebrates the achievement of an engaging, interactive, successful club event held in the calendar year. The award provides recognition for the way in which the club has planned, promoted and executed the objectives of the event within its budget. This award is chosen from the collective pool of events voted as 'Club Event of the Month'.

Terms and Conditions
  • Clubs and student executives must meet all terms of the affiliation agreement in order to be eligible for any of the existing award categories.
  • New clubs are defined as a club, unincorporated or incorporated, who have affiliated with DUSA in the past 12 months.
  • Club events must meet Deakin University/DUSA policy and procedure to be eligible for nomination.
