NOMAD (Nursing, Occupational Health, Medicine and Allied Health at Deakin) is Deakin University’s Rural Health Club, and one of 29 around Australia. NOMAD promotes rural, remote, and Indigenous health to their members through placement opportunities, support and advocacy. The club runs events such as Rural High School Visits, Indigenous engagement events, and social events.
