Deakin Coastcarers Club (DCC)

Deakin Coastcarers is a club run by Marine Science students, and is for anyone who shares a love of the marine environment and its inhabitants!

Our key goals are promoting environmental sustainability and awareness of Geelong and Bellarine coastlines, as well as providing a space for students with similar interests to collaborate and have fun!

We offer opportunities for students to develop their careers and gain personal experience through building CVs, meeting industry professionals, gaining scientific skills, and volunteering and networking with the Geelong and Bellarine community during events.

We are mainly based on Wadawurrung Country in the Geelong area, and hold monthly catch ups at the Waurn Ponds campus.
