Deakin Chess Club (DCC)

You may be new to chess, you might be a Grand Master – or maybe you don’t even know the rules yet. Regardless of your current skill level, the Deakin Chess Club (DCC) welcomes all Chess enthusiasts and aims to provide members with an environment that fosters both learning and improvement, as well as a healthy bit of competition.

Throughout the year the club will provide lessons for most skill levels and will host both friendly matches and competitive tournaments, both online and in person – and yes, there will be pizza! The DCC will hopefully give everyone a chance to improve at chess, to win some prizes and most importantly, to make new friends.
