Hi my name is Hoang Cam Vi Vo

Hi everyone!

My name is Vi Vo and I’m one of your DUSA Councilors for 2025. I’m currently doing my last year of a Bachelor of Psychology degree, however I will also be continuing to complete my Honors. I’m always excited to meet new people and help out, so feel free to reach out if you see me on campus!

I became involved in DUSA when I founded the Vietnamese Club at Deakin with my friends. Through this club, I have bonded with my community, made life-long friendships, and learnt the joy of volunteering. Some may know me through my initiatives, such as the DeVISE’s Declassified Survival Guide at Deakin, something I hope to bring to the international students community next year.

I have a humanistic view of human behaviours, thoughts, and emotions, meaning I truly believe that people have the ability to reach their goals if given the right support and mentoring. That’s why my goal for 2025 as your DUSA Councilor is to empower you to empower yourself and engage in your community. Over the next year, I hope to revise the Deakin Volunteering Committee which focuses solely on engaging with the community, so reach out to me if you’re keen to get involved.
