At DUSA, we understand that situations may occur in your life that can impact upon your ability to be successful in your studies. DUSA has employed Advocates that are professional and experienced, who provide free, independent and confidential support regarding academic and personal matters to all Deakin students. We are currently offering specialised appointments to support students throughout their Academic Progress.
If you have received a letter regarding a proposed exclusion, Advocates are running a number of webinars via zoom. The webinars will walk you through the process step-by-step, including help with your response and accessing available supports and resources. This Webinar includes the option to have a brief one-on-one confidential chat with an Advocate to discuss any personal matters.
If you have received a letter regarding proposed conditions on your enrolment, an Advocate can assist you to understand the letter, assess your situation and consider possible courses of action.
DUSA Advocates are currently holding ‘Drop in times’ which will give you an opportunity to find out more information about the process of accepting or reviewing a condition proposal, and to ask questions about the process.
For drop in times or to book into a Webinar Session, please contact DUSA Advocacy on (03) 9246 8615 or complete our online form available on our webpage: https://dusa.org.au/our-services/advocacy-welfare/
