On-Campus Legal Service
Legal troubles at home? Problems at work? Centrelink on your back? DUSA’s free on-campus legal service is here to help.
DUSA now have an On-Campus Legal Service, where you can make an appointment on campus to speak to a legal professional for FREE!
The new initiative is a recognition that students often need face-to-face legal assistance. If you’re in any sort of legal trouble, give DUSA a call and we’ll set up a free, confidential consultation with a qualified lawyer.
ECLC @ Deakin
Deakin University Student Association (DUSA) in partnership with Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) and Barwon Community Legal Service (BCLS) are establishing a new legal service for Deakin University Students. The service provides FREE and confidential legal advice, information, referral, and education. Legal Advice will be given on a face-to-face appointment basis.
Warrnambool students can arrange a phone consultation wth Barwon Community Legal Service for advice and visits may be arranged if futher assistance is required.
Located at the DUSA offices, students can access the Legal Service by going online to see if the Legal Service can help with your problem and to arrange an appointment. Alternatively students can make contact with the Legal Service via a DUSA Advocate (email dusa-advocacy@deakin.edu.au or call 1300 555 528) or by calling either ECLC or BCLS directly.
ECLC & BCLC works closely with DUSA to develop a service tailored to the specific needs of Deakin students and young people.
