WORDLY (pronounced word-ly) is brought to you by Deakin Writers, a Burwood-based DUSA club. Though the club stems from Melbourne, you’ll find the magazine on every Deakin University campus, and the work inside is not limited to Burwood students. Deakin Writers encourage students from all campuses to be involved and are constantly looking for helpers to spread the word. Inside you’ll find writing of all styles: poetry, journalism, nonfiction and fiction as well as cartoons, paintings, photography and all kinds of artwork.
Deakin Writers are always looking for submissions and they accept them at all times and in any style. Sometimes WORDLY has themes that you can write on; sometimes it has no theme, so be sure to grab the latest copy to find out what’s coming next for the magazine and how you can get involved.
The WORDLY website will be up and running soon. Keep watching this space for more information!
The Dragon is a campus-specific newsletter that tells you everything you need to know about what is happening on your campus every month. This includes things like free food days, events, live music, campaigns on campus and more.
